Jenny's Boot Camp Starts June 2 and it's free!!

Jenny, my sister is running a Summer Boot Camp of Fitness Classes!! Remember I wrote about it here during my week of giveaways?

The first class is June 7 and it is FREE to all The Intentional Home readers!! So mark your calendar for this coming Monday, June 7.

Jenny has the experience. You will be in good hands! Jenny has been teaching aerobics for 17 years. She graduated from UNCW with a major in Physical Education & minor is Sports Management. She then worked as a Fitness Trainer & Aerobics Instructor at SAS, where she developed many new programs and wrote 3 fitness manuals. She then went to ECU to get her Masters in Physical Therapy and has been working as a PT for 10 years, currently with Wake Med in outpatient orthopedics. She currently teach sports conditioning and Fit Over 50 classes.

The format of the Summer Boot Camp Classes will vary a little – but will usually start with a 5min. warm-up, 50 minutes of interval training (cardio / strength), and a 5 minute stretch/cool down. It is designed to give you an intense, cross-training / interval type of workout that will make you sweat, burn calories, tone muscles, increase your endurance, strength, & overall fitness condition! This class is open to all levels & ages!

This class will be held every Monday and Wednesday starting June 7 from 6:30 – 7:30pm at Williams Park in Raleigh (6601 Leadmine Road, next to Lynn Road School). The group will meet in the field between the volleyball court and tennis courts.

I will be there Mon, June 7th!! Come join me!!

You'll need to arrive 15 minutes early to sign in, pay, and meet new people. You'll also need to bring a water bottle, mat or a towel, and a pair of hand weights (5-8lb recommended). You'll need to wear running shoes and comfortable clothes – you will get dirty!

Payment: You can pay by cash or check (made out to Jenny McClendon). Classes are $7 each. Most area boot camps run $15-$20 a class with commitments - You won’t find a better deal for what you will get!

And Jenny offers punch cards too, that offer 10 classes for only $60. You can purchase these before class and they can be bought any time throughout the summer, but the earlier the better!
