Summer Reading Incentive Programs

Below is my 5th list for you!!!

Did you see my first list of Kids Eat Free Nights?

And did you see my 2nd list of Free Kids' Movies this Summer?

And did you see the recent list of Restaurants that Reward Good Report Cards?

And yesterday's post had links to 3 lists that tell you what a good price is for items you buy at the grocery/drug store aka Target Price List. Oh what a resource!!

Well here's my 5th list:
a list of Summer Reading Incentive Programs. Anne, a mother of 5 compiled this list and shared with me!

Barnes and Noble: for 1st-6th graders, read any eight books – library books, books borrowed from friends or books bought at Barnes & Noble – write about their favorite part, and bring a completed tear page to a Barnes & Noble bookstore. Children then choose their free book from a list of paperback titles.

Borders: for those under 12, read 10 books, get a free book from a list they have

National Reading Incentive Program: for K-6 students, read 5 books and you get entered into sweepstakes to win prizes!!

Wake County Public Library: programs for kids, teens, and adults!! Varies by library so check out the link above for details.

And for my out-of-state blog readers. . those who live in AZ, CA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MN, MO, NE, OH, OK, PA, TX, WA, and WI or perhaps you'll be headed to one of these states on vacation, check out the summer reading incentive program that Half Price Books offers.

Does anyone know if Books a Million on Falls of Neuse has a program; Anne said there was nothing online. Or do you know of any small independent bookstores with programs? Leave a comment or shoot me an email.
