Free Combo Meal at Chick-Fil-A Tomorrow

IF you dress up like a cow!! :) Yes, if you dress up in full cow attire, you will get a free combo meal at Chick-Fil-A tomorrow!! Dress in part cow attire (just a mask, just a cow headband, just a cow purse) and you get a free entree. All details can be found HERE.

This Friday, July 13 is the 8th Annual Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A. (this is nation wide, not just Raleigh!!) Here is my sister and her 3 kiddos last year:

Here is Anna and me and our little friend Olivia from the pool with our cow attire from 3 years ago. Last year, we had just brought Daniel home (can you imagine taking a kid from Ethiopia to this?) and the year before that we were RVing up the east coast and all 6 of us filled that RV to the rim so there was no room for cow attire. So we missed that year too. But we will be there this year!!

Here is the pic I posted on my blog 4 years ago. This frugal mom keeps the cow masks and reuses them every July on Chick-Fil-A's Cow Appreciation Day!! We will use them again this year.

To make sure we are in full cow attire and get a combo meal, we dress in all black or all white and tape construction paper black or white dots to our clothes. And we add the above masks to complete the costume. We usually have to remake the spots each year because the spots from the previous year always get crumpled. To make the masks like we did, see here. Just paper plates hot glued together. We thrifty women certainly aren't going to buy anything to make the costume! :)

Above are my kids (again 3 years ago) with a whole slew of kids from the pool. Did you take note of the utters Anna and her girlfriend attached?

So are you game? Or is this even more embarrassing than carrying a huge trapper keeper notebook into the grocery store or diggin thru a recycling bin ;) lol.

Intentional Home blog reader Amy and her daughter were game. They sent me the below pictures. Amy said that her Chick-Fil-A near Wilson had a face painter and a mechanical bull last year.

And this one. I love her shirt!! WOW! Amy used some black fabric paint and her finger and the free costume download to create it!

I promise others will be in you Chick-Fil-A dressed up like cows. Promise. It is fun!! You and your family and friends or perhaps even your coworkers?? will be laughing, mooing, and enjoying free $6 meals all day long!  You can go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Sure would love to see your photos if you go!!

  1. I love this day! Last year I was hosting a slew of college kids at our house for dinner on the day. Little did they know when they showed up that I had the materials for them to dress up go get a meal and then bring it back to my house. I was really worried about how it would go over, but they LOVED it!

  2. I have a photo of me, Autumn, Kristen, Caleb and Danielle M all dressed up in cow attire in the Knightdale Chik-fil-A last year. I miss everyone so much! But I don't have my scanner unpacked, so I can't post it for you to see. :( boo.

  3. Look, it's me and my munchkin... as cows! We usually go twice that day for some free chicken! We hit breakfast and dinner, lunch is too busy as the local day cares come with their kids. They either go with a brown paper bag vest and brown ear headband -OR- the white garbage bag (holes for head & arms) with black sharpie spots and a black ear headband. Simple and easy way to make kids into cows.
