How Did You Do at Harris Teeter Super Doubles?

Today Super Doubles at Harris Teeter started. Super Doubles is when HT doubles coupons with a face value of $1.98 or under. So $1 coupons are worth $2 and $1.50 coupons are worth $3 during Super Doubles.

Did you go?? Are you planning on going?? How did you do??

I just got back and I spent $71.45 and saved $93.35!!!

Some of my favorite deals were:

Old Orchard Juice is on sale Buy 2, Get 3 Free. These are $2.95 normally. So Buy 2 at $5.90, use 2 of the $1 coupons from the Keebler booklet and you get 5 bottles for $1.90!!!

Those Electrasol Tabs (have you noticed they are always on sale during Super Doubles) are on sale BOGO. So that means each one is $2.75. Use the $2.25 coupon that came out 1/2 SS and you get those for 50 cents.

Baileys Coffee Creamer is $2.39, use the $1 coupon from 11/14 SS and you get that for 39 cents.

And then Ziploc Containers are BOGO, so that means they are $1.75 a pack. There were tearpads at my store for $1 off 2 packs. So that means you could get a pack of Ziploc Containers for 75 cents.

The Deal Scoop has her deal list up. You'll want to check it out here because you can search her list by aisle, by price, or by insert!! It really is my favorite deal list out in blog land.

I forgot to check on the HT Chicken. I noticed it was Buy One, Get 2 Free. Did anyone get the price on that? Is it a good deal? Is it under $1.99 a pound, the target price for non frozen boneless, skinlesss chicken breasts?

And if this will be your first Super Doubles, you will want to click here to read my Top 10 Tips for a Successful Super Doubles Shop.

I look forward to hearing how you did!!!

  1. I paid $29.99 total and SAVED $74.99. I am going back for my frozen items later. I only used 20 coupons. I noticed that the prices seemed really high (Cream cheese at $2.25)and I had to really focus on what to get. I had some high value Q's for syrup, coffee mate, zip lock bags and containers (25cents), did the meal deal as well without any Q's which came out to under $8 for all of the items. The store I went to was out of the smuckers waffles. THere was even a penguin at the store. I plan to get meatballs, the juice and tyson bags on my next trip. The chicken was very pricey at $4.99 a pound, but if you get 3 packs total then you are paying $1.66 a pound. I had to think about it for awhile but I have decided to go back and purchase it. Be careful on Lean Cuisine because the evic is limited to only one! Also, any digital coupons will come off before the Manu. Q's and don't double. I am not sure how it affected my Truvia purchase. Happy shopping!

  2. I didn't have a list put together but I needed milk and yogurt so I thought I'd stop by and at least pick up the chicken (buy 1 get 2 free) and the electrosol tabs. I used 13 q's that I quickly pulled from my binder (I was so glad to find it in my car and not accidentally left at home). I "bought" 7 packs of chicken plus milk, yogurt and other stuff I had $1 coupons for. My total was $58 and I saved $89 - not too shabby for an unplanned shop :-)

  3. I spent $18 and saved $117. Wow, was I excited! The manager had to come over and clear my purchases because I saved so much. I have never had that happen before!

    The chicken is $1.66/lb.

I got the juice too. I use one BOGO and one $1/1 with that deal.

I got the electrasol tabs too.
