{Play on Word} Love

I have shared before here how I love "play on word" gifts. I always have. You know when you have to list 7 random things about yourself. . I could list: I really love play on word gifts. Another random thing I could list: I really dislike talking on the phone. Like I get real uneasy when I have call up and make a doctor appointment or order pizza. Even talking to my good girlfriends on the phone is not a favorite. But back to my love for play on word gifts.

The puns, the double meaning of the words may be a little corny, but it is also a creative, and thrifty, and resourceful, and a quick and easy way to bring a smile to someone's day.

Like I bookmarked this idea on the blog NannyGoat for Christmas next year. I love that these play on word gifts are practical and will actually get used.

Here is another site I bookmarked of play on word gift ideas for Christmas.

Jonathan and I are making these for Valentine's this year. . .to hand out to all his preschool friends. But you could so do this for that special kiddo in your life. . go get a shovel and bucket and fill the bucket with treasures and a note that says, "I dig you!"

Kathleen at Twig and Thistle created these cute stickers to stick on the fruit you pack in your kids' lunches or hubby's briefcase. I can't wait to surprise my kids with these or even Rob since he makes smoothies every morning.

Go visit Twig and Thistle here and print you out a sheet. She has stickers for bananas, berries, apples, pears, and more!

And for an older post I wrote of creative and thoughtful, yet inexpensive little gifts, click here. There are even more play on word love gift ideas there. . .that is if you think they are clever and fun, not corny.
