5 for Friday: November 8

Happy Friday!  Here's 5 things I wanted to share with you:

1. The UPS store at 3434 Edwards Mill Road, Suite 112 is hosting a B&W Copy Give-Away for Teachers. Show a valid teacher ID and get 100 free B&W Copies the last Friday of each month. This month they are not open on the last Friday since it is the day after Thanksgiving so teachers can go in on Wed, 11/27 for their 100 free copies. Oh, if you go in be sure to thank this generous owner.

2. Did you hear that Aldi will now be permanently carrying an organic line? By Christmas we should be able to get organic butter, milk, salad greens, nitrate-free bacon, lunch meat, and more! Blog reader Teresa sent me this link from Money Saving Mom letting me know this exciting news.

3. I have spent this week restocking my Christmas ornament and nativity sign inventory because I am participating in another craft show this coming week.

Soapstone's Sugar Plum Fair and Silent Auction will be this Wed and Thurs, Nov 13 and 14. With over 50 vendors and complimentary food and drink, it promises to be the ultimate shopping experience! Wednesday and Thursday mornings (9am-1pm) and Wednesday night (6-9pm) offer time to get your Christmas shopping started.

4. There is a coupon for $5 off a $50 purchase at Home Depot HERE. Once you fill out the short form, the coupon will be sent to your email for you to print out. It took about 30 minutes for me to get mine. I loved stumbling on this coupon because they are rare.

5.  Happy Veteran's Day this Monday!

Below are the places that are offering a free meal or a discount on purchases to those who have and are serving in our military.

I know there are a handful of you who read my blog who have served our country. Thank you. . .really.

Thank you for sacrificing in big ways, in ways I would probably gasp if I knew. Thank your families for sacrificing. . .your spouses, your children, your moms and dads. Thank you for being brave and for being dedicated. May you feel honored and appreciated. Thank you for keeping my family safe and for the freedom we have here in this country.

If you have a friend, coworker, neighbor who has served/is serving our country, please forward them this blog post with a thank you note from you.
